The most basic four patch quilt block is just what its name implies, a quilt block made with four patches of fabric, all squares, and arranged in two rows of two squares each. When you begin to examine four patch patterns, you’ll discover that those four simple patches are very often subdivided, sometimes more than one time, to create intricate designs.
